Winter Greetings! Every year winter comes with a vivid reminder of our traditional Bangladeshi heritage that boasts assortment of pithas and sweets – which used to be the winter staple foods back in those good old days!
 
Australia Bangladesh Association, which strives in upholding and nurturing our traditional Bangladeshi cultural heritage and values, is organizing a day-long event Pitha Mela on Saturday 18th August 2018 at Chandler Community Centre, Isaac Road, Keysborough. Details are:
 
Dear Community, this is really an event not to be missed. Please come along and join the celebration of Pitha Mela with your fellow community members.
 
The event will consist of:

# Array of stalls including
· finest collection of sweet/savoury pithas and various Bangladeshi cuisines representing rural/urban Bangladesh
· traditional Bangladeshi dresses, garments, boutiques and jewelleries

# Cultural performances including songs, chorus, dances and poetry recitation and activities for adults and children
